And so much of that prayer is about our relationship with God. So is this book. In plain language, the book discusses developing and maintaining a relationship with God. A relationship that goes beyond worship or petition. With stories from her own life, the author also talks about how human relationships that go wrong can make a person's relationship with God challenging. But that's okay. As she demonstrates, the struggle is well worth while. I would highly recommend this for your personal reading, but also for bible study groups for youth and adults. I enjoyed learning about the author's private journey that led to her personal disclosure about the relationship between her and her biological and even more importantly, between her and her spiritual father. Her words to the reader are encouraging, inspirational and supportive. I believe she fulfilled her mission to let others who might not have had a strong bond with their physical father know that a strong bond with their heavenly, spiritual father is always available. I feel very strongly that this book will help others that we’re a bonded by their earthly parents. The author shares her story uniquely through letters written to her now deceased biological father who had abandoned her at 5 years old. She inspires and gives hope by pointing the reader to let God full that void as a Heavenly Father and His love. Buying the paper book as a gift to someone I think it will help.
